Graeme Baxter

Graeme’s decision to get his real estate license was driven by two things; his passion for people and his admiration for the city we all call home. His passion came from a renovation project he handled in Oakridge Estates and going to open houses/showhomes almost every weekend. It quickly became an attachment to the world of Real Estate.

Growing up here in Calgary, his life was centered around sports. He played everything at a young age and then gradually shifted his focus to baseball in his teen years before playing for Dalhousie University in Halifax where he kept the bench warm for 4 seasons. Thankfully, Graeme loved the bench.

“There’s no stress on the bench, you just get to kick your feet up and joke around with your teammates. I’ve made some of my best friends and greatest memories chatting in dugouts over the years. Plus I was scared of the ball.” Former teammates will tell you his deficiencies on the field were made up for off the field. A quiet leader, Graeme has always taken great pride in being a better teammate than a player.

He loved his time on the east coast but always knew he would be calling Calgary home for the rest of his life. He claims there’s something about this city that always brings people back. After earning a Bachelor of Management and a Bachelor of Science, he served as the Technical Director of Wheelchair Sports Alberta for three years - a position he is forever grateful for simply because of the community he was introduced to.

In his free time you can find him hanging out with friends and family, going for walks along the river, or at Calcutta Cricket Club eating Lamb Kati Rolls.

Over the years he’s met people from many different walks of life and has thoroughly enjoyed listening to every single one of their stories. Whether you’re a first time home buyer or an experienced investor he’s always available for a chat about the market or anything that’s on your mind.
