Calvin Bass

Born and raised in Calgary, Calvin Bass brings more than 15 years of experience in real estate, property development, and property management to his role as a Senior Advisor with Sam Patel & Associates at eXp Realty. His local roots and hands-on building experience give clients a practical perspective on buying, selling, and investing in Calgary.

As Co-Founder of Bass Development Group, Calvin has worked alongside his brother Alan in residential development since 2009, with experience spanning inner-city luxury homes, multi-family projects, purpose-built rentals, and commercial retail. This background allows him to look beyond finishes and square footage to help clients understand construction quality, renovation potential, and the factors that contribute to long-term value.

Calvin works with buyers, sellers, and investors across Calgary, with a particular focus on established inner-city communities and the luxury market. He combines detailed market analysis with thoughtful marketing and a clear, measured approach to negotiation. Whether assessing a development opportunity, preparing a home for sale, or helping a family find their next neighbourhood, he offers straightforward advice grounded in experience.
